Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Technician to manufacture complex
electromechanical assemblies.

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for assembly, testing, and rework at the component,
assembly, and rack level.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electromechanical systems utilizing PCBs, power supplies, wire harnesses, custom enclosures, and both unit and rack level wiring
  • Testing assembled components and systems to a detailed test plan
  • Rework assembled components and systems

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 5 years relevant experience, or associates degree and 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong soldering skills (IPC certification is a plus)
  • Thorough understanding of electrical systems and circuits
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems
  •  Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics

  • Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings

  • Experience with test equipment such as multi-meters, power supplies, environmental chambers, oscilloscopes

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Quick starter requiring minimal supervision

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • US citizen and ability to obtain appropriate personnel clearance
