    We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Program Manager to lead a key, $100M+ radar program.


    The successful Senior Program Manager candidate will be responsible for leading the upcoming proposal preparation effort for a key single source award, plan an existing program's transition to production, and manage the resulting production program. The production program will deliver high visibility multi-mission naval radar systems at a rate of up to 30-40 systems per year. The selected individual will have the total cost, schedule, and performance responsibility for production, delivery, and installation of the radar systems.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead a cross functional team generating the single source proposal for the follow on effort which will include completion of system development and production start
    • Coordinate closely with the existing development team and manufacturing resources to successfully plan the transition to production
    • Lead the program management effort for the production program applying standard company and program management techniques for defining project scope
    • Applying company practices, establish program budgets and schedules and provide status on progress
    • Track work accomplished to baseline plans and identify issues, track progress, and follow through on effective corrective actions based on data analysis and trends
    • Primary point of contact to senior government customers for transition and production program
    • Team lead for identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities and risk mitigation I opportunity capture activities
    • Identify/recognize scope changes and develop program positions for equitable cost and schedule adjustments
    • Follow company policies and processes in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
    • Effective and timely communication of issues, impacts, and corrective actions on programs to internal and external representatives


    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional program teams in matrix organization focused on delivery of a product
    • Demonstrated capability for expert program management of cost, schedule, resource, and risks.
    • Experience with transitioning programs from the development phase to production
    • Proposal management experience with proposal development and/or new business capture
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional presentation skills
    • Proficiency with Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline management
    • Experience in US DOD, and/or major system acquisition desired
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Including MS Project management experience.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
    • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years program management or relevant other experience
    • Ability and willingness to travel in support of business and program requirement
    • Bachelors degree (Masters degree preferred) and minimum of 15 years program management experience.
    • US citizen and ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance
